Required:

1. Download the recovery j_r0dd-mb300-v2.0, unzip and copy to your phone’s SD card.
2. Download the Custom ROM : Gingerbread 2.3.4 for Motorola Backflip. And copy to your phone’s SD card.
3. Download the Gapps : GApps for Gingerbread 2.3.4 – Motorola Backflip. And copy to your phone’s SD card.
4. Download Motorola Backflip USB drivers for 32bit/x86 or 64bit/x64 and install.
5. Download the android sdk adb tool and extract it in your C drive.
6. Backup all your data (songs, images, videos, contacts, etc.) on phone and sd card.

If you are a VIVO, Oi, TIM, Personal Móvil Argentina, Optus & Telcel user thendownload signed-IT_radio.zip and copy to sd card, and flash this before step 11 and reboot, then continue from step 10. It will update your outdated radio version, which is needed for this ROM.

Procedure to get Gingerbread Up and Running:

1. First of all you should root your Motorola Backflip, if not already have.
2. Open command prompt, by typing “cmd” in run.
3. Open C drive and navigate to “C:\adb\”.
4. Drag n drop the adb.exe file in command prompt and in the same line type “start-server”, and hit enter. The ADB server will start. Now plug in your phone make sure its in USB Debugging mode.
   
5. Drag n drop adb.exe again in command prompt and type “shell” and hit enter.
6. type “su” enter and approve the request on phone if prompted, then type

   flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery.img

7. Now you have custom recovery on your phone. #Milestone – 1
8. Reboot phone in recovery mode – power off phone –> press and hold camera button –> switch on phone while keeping camera button pressed.Phone will enter fast boot, immediately press volume down key(though will say up pressed) and wait until recovery loads.
9. On your recovery menu goto Wipe and select “Wipe all” this will delete all data and cache off your phone. 
10. Press back button to go back to main recovery menu and select “Flash zip from SD”. You’ll see the text “SDCARD: update-cm-7.1.0-BACKFLIP-signed.zip”. Press the home key. ROM will begin flashing :) 
11. After flashing the Gingerbread you will have to flash the Gapps you downloaded to get Android Market etc.
12. After completion, select “Reboot system now”. It may take up to 10-15 minutes to boot for the first time.

Proses instalasi ROM:

1. Sisipkan kartu microSD ke PC/Laptop. Bisa menggunakan card reader atau port khusus yang ada di PC/Laptop. 
2. Format kartu microSD menggunakan sistem FAT32. 
3. Cari tahu tipe/model Tablet Android IMO Tab X3 Anda (misalnya VIA WM8650/M009s/M003s/M012s/etc.) 
4. Ekstrak/Unzip file ROM Universal Uberoid WM8650 1.5.3 HoneyCombMOD v9 yang telah didownload ke folder PC/Laptop.
5. Jalankan file “CHANGER.EXE” yang ada di folder hasil ekstrak ROM modding. 
6. Masukan nomor kode dari tipe/model Tablet Android Anda di kotak dialog bagian bawah. Selanjutnya tekan “Enter”. Misalnya, Anda pilih ROM dari tipe M009s Blue LED 7” , di kotak dialog tersebut ketik angka 2 lalu Enter. 
7. Catatan  :
   Pada langkah ini anda diminta untuk menyesuaikan model tablet android dengan "WM8650 ROM" yang ada di firmware UBEROID.
   
   Jika tablet anda IMO Tab X3 warna (merah) anda ketik 27, jika warna (putih/silver) Charger bengkok (L) anda ketik 8 , jika warna (hitam) anda ketik 11.
   
    kemudian tekan tombol ENTER dan akan muncul jendela konfirmasi lagi , anda jawab Y
8. CHANGER.EXE akan menampilkan notifikasi untuk menyimpan ROM modifikasi ke microSD, pilih ‘Y’ selanjutnya tekan Enter. Proses modifikasi dan copy ROM ke microSD akan berlangsung secara otomatis. 
9. Setelah sukses ter-copy ke microSD, cabut kartu memori tersebut 
10. Matikan Tablet Android IMO Tab X3 
11. Masukan kartu microSD ke slot yang tersedia. 
12. Hidupkan Tablet Android IMO Tab X3 
13. Proses instalasi ROM akan berlangsung secara otomatis, di bagian bawah screen/layar akan tertampil indikator prosentasi proses instalasi. Tunggu sampai 100%, dan Anda akan diminta untuk mencabut kartu microSD.

IMO Tab X3 Anda sudah berhasil dimodifikasi.

Iseng-iseng masuk ke forum http://opensource.telkomspeedy.com. setelah baca-baca akhirnya ketemu topik yang membahas tentang setting VPN dengan menggunakan speedy.

Untuk Modem yang di gunakan adalah modem ADSL linksys AG241.
Ada 2 Altenatif yang di suguhkan untuk penyettingan ini:

1. port forwarding vpn
2. bridging vpn


AG241 versi 1.00.16 - bisa dimainkan IPSEC VPN -> tab security | VPN.
langkah-langkahnya :

1. vpn passthru :

Tentu akan ada pertanyaan, untuk lokal secure group diisikan ip siapa ?? dan remote secure nya ip siapa lalu remote security gateway apakah diisikan dengan ip gateway nya speedy.?

Selanjutnya, Bagi yang menggunakan Modem TP-Link dapat juga di setting denngan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut :

Login ke modem, caranya : open Mozilla/IE/Opera
ketik di address bar nya : http://192.168.1.1
masukkan user dan pass : admin dan admin

Selanjutnya kita buka menu "Advance Setup"
di sisi NAT nya, pilih PVC yang di gunakan untuk koneksi internetnya.
Contoh : PVC 2.

pilih Virtual Server

masukkan Mode Virtual server nya "PPTP"
isikan IP LAN dari PC VPN Server nya.
setelahnya default port utk PPTP nya akan otomatis muncul
Kemudian "Save"

Di sisi PC untuk VPN Server nya, kita dapat setting dengan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut :

Start -> Control Panel -> Network Connections -> Create a New Connection

Klik Next -> Pilih “Set up an advanced connection“

Klik Next -> Pilih “Accept incoming connections“

Klik Next -> Kalau komputer/laptop kalian ada port LPT1 (printer) jangan di beri tanda centang, abaikan saja -> Klik Next

Pilih “Allow virtual private connections” -> Klik Next

Pilih User yang kita perbolehkan untuk melakukan koneksi kedalam mesin, Bisa juga kita menambahkan User sendiri dengan klik tombol “Add“

Klik Next -> Pilih “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)” -> Properties
Centang “Allow callers to access my local area network” (Jika memperbolehkan user mengakses lokal area network termasuk didalamnya share files/printers/device lainnya yang dishare) Kalau tidak memperbolehkan silahkan dihapus centangnya.

Pilih “Assign TCP/IP addresses automatically using DHCP” Kalau menggunakan DHCP server (butuh program khusus karena XP tidak menyediakan DHCP server secara default). Pilih “Specify TCP/IP addresses” range (batasan) misalnya 192.168.0.1 sampai dengan 192.168.1.255 maka otomatis client terhubung akan mendapatkan IP dalam range tersebut selama available. Pilih “Allow calling computer to specify it’s own IP address” Jika memperbolehkan user yang terhubung boleh merubah konfigurasi TCP/IP sendiri secara manual.

Klik Next -> Klik Finish

Di sisi VPN Client nya bisa di setting dengan langkah-langkah sebagai beikut :

Klik Start -> "My Network Place"
Di Tampilan sebelah kiri, Klik "View network connections option"

Klik "Create a new connection option"

Ikuti Petunjuknya

Klik Next -> di "Network Connection Type" Pilih "Pilih "Connect to The Network at My Workplace"

Klik Next -> di "Network Connection" Pilih "Virtual Private Network Connection"

Klik Next -> di "Connection Name" Isikan "Company Name" nya dengan sembarang nama

Klik Next -> di "Publik Network" Pilih "Do not dial the initial Connection"

Klik Next -> di "VPN Server Selection" Isikan "Hostname atau IP Wan"dari VPN PC Server

Klik Next -> Finish

Setelah kita menekan Finish akan muncul Lan utk Koneksi VPN nya.
masukkan User dan Pass yang sudah kita set sebelumnya di PC VPN Server.

Selanjutnya, Klik "Properties"

Klik Security -> "unCheck Required data encryption"

Pada Tab Networking, Klik 2 kali pada "Internet Protocol TCP/IP"
Selanjutnya akan muncul "Internet Protocol TCP/IP Properties"

Klik "Advance" -> di tampilan "General" Uncheck "Use Default Gateway On Remote Network"

Click OK

Selanjutnya kita dapat memulai koneksi VPN nya
